Parasite Plan 2016

Spring 2016 has come after a lackluster winter. For some, this mild winter has been a treat but to the ticks in our area, they have welcomed it! We were in Apps Mills yesterday for Easter and come home with ticks on us!!! ICH!!!

It brings to mind how we can protect our pets this season. Depending on your pet's activity there are different parasites to be concerned about.

If your dog has minimal time outside, you may only need the basic protection against Heartworm Disease. However, if your dog is active in the outdoors, full protection is the best option. When you come in for your Parasite Protection Plan visit, bear in mind what protection level your dog requires and we will recommend the appropriate medications.
